Site behaviours

A reminder that there is no smoking or vaping allowed and no pets on site. This includes all indoor and outdoor areas at all the sites we use.

Swimming at Badminton School and Easton Leisure Centre

Further to our previous emails regarding arrangements for access to swimming at Badminton School and Easton Leisure Centre, we have additional information.

Badminton School

  • A reminder that this form needs to be completed for anyone swimming at the site. We need to know how people will access the pool.

Easton Leisure Centre - further information

  • Everyone with swimmers at this site needs to fill in this form. We have been asked to pass the names on of everyone who swims at Easton, so we are asking your permission to do this. Please note, if you do not give permission, it may be that Everyone Active does not allow the swimmer to attend swimming at Easton Leisure Centre.
  • All adults will need an Everyone Active card / the app to be downloaded to get past reception. Sign up now for a card here or download the Everyone Active app using your smartphone to get organised before the changes come in!

Volunteer Administrators Needed

We have a small team of volunteers who do administration for BSG and need to recruit some more people. In addition to this, Fiona has decided to step down as Registration Coordinator and we would like to thank her for doing this role very successfully.

The volunteering role can be as big or as small as people would like. It’s great to be involved and help out running the club. The admin can be completed at home and we would discuss what sort of thing would be most suitable for you as well as what time commitment can give. Please email [email protected] if you would like to help out or to find out more about the options available.

BSG email addresses

If you have not already done so, please make sure that [email protected] and addresses from @bsgsc.org accounts are added as contacts in your email mailbox so that BSG emails don't go into your junk email.

2026 Annual Fee - FINAL REMINDER

On Thursday the 15th January 2026 we will be charging this year's annual fee of £49.00 for every swimmer registered as of the 31st December 2025.

For some of our swimmers they were charged £15 on the 1st October 2025 already. I have the full list of the swimmers charged and I will apply this £15 credit to their accounts on the same day so you will be charged £34 (£49 less £15) for each affected swimmer.

With families who have more than one swimmer Helen is happy to take the charge over a few months for example: 1 charge in Jan and 1 in Feb and so on. Also if anyone would struggle to pay the charge of £49 in one month then please ask to pay it in instalments. Please email [email protected] to request this . If I do not hear from you then I will charge in full on the 15th January.

Badminton School - Parking & driving onto site

A reminder that Badminton School is a day and boarding school and the careful management of traffic on site is key to the safe and smooth running of the school. In recent weeks, we have had several issues reported to us regarding cars on site. For example, stopping in prohibited bays or blocking others within the car park. These are causing concern for the school, stress to the volunteer(s) at the club having to deal with this, reputational damage to BSG and putting our bookings at risk. A reminder that families are not allowed to park on site at Badminton School. Where possible, we encourage parents to either park off site or walk/cycle although you are permitted to drive onto site to pick up / drop off swimmers. We understand that the vast majority of families follow the rules but there have been too many incidents and we now need to put additional measures in place.

Please could anyone with swimmers at Badminton School complete this form. This includes those who do not access the site by car.

As soon as you have completed the form, you are permitted to drive in to drop off / pick up. If anyone has a special reason why they need to request to park on site, we’ll review and email you back about this.

  • Drop off / pick up - restricted to areas below marked in yellow ONLY. If the first bay by the bus stop is full, drop off  / pick up by the Hub

Recent issues highlighted which are prohibited!

  • Double parking
  • Parking on painted zebra crossings
  • Waiting across parked cars
  • Leaving engines running whilst waiting
  • Waiting on double yellow lines
  • Waiting in the mini bus bays
  • Unsafe driving choices not in keeping with a school site.

When walking onto site please use the pedestrian entrances and do not walk down the road. The code for the pedestrian entrances is in the bulletin email.

I’m afraid BSG/Badminton School will have to ban vehicle access for those not keeping to these rules. There is little wiggle room for any second chances so please stick to these rules at all times. This includes when the car park is full and you’re short of time!

Thank you for your support with this matter.

Ben Mullen, Club Chair
